THE TOUGHEST VEHICLE EVER IN THE WORLD

The Willy-Overland Jeep was essential to U.S. operations through WWII and over the course of the war the Jeep saw several customizations to better haul soldiers and their gear through various weather, terrain, and scenarios. Before being shipped out, each Jeep went through a rigorous test drive which included a loop through the West Toledo neighborhood. All in all, it is estimated that Toledo's Willys-Overland produced nearly half of the military Jeeps used in WWII, an astounding contribution to the war effort.
